The Association of Iraqi Ophthalmologists, Nineveh branch, held the second scientific workshop on Friday, 20 December 2019. The workshop started with a welcome speech by the specialist Dr Shaher Khalaf, then a second speech to the specialist Dr Sinan Mohammed. The scientific session consisted of two lectures. The first one delivered by the lecturer from the Department of Surgery, College of Medicine at University of Mosul, Assistant Prof Dr Azzam A. Ahmed entitled “Phacoemulsification in High Myopia” While the second lecture was delivered by a lecturer from the College of Medicine, University of Nineveh, Dr Bashar Iyad entitled “Vitreous Haemorrhage” After the two lectures, the attendees were given the opportunity to express their interventions and questions on the topics raised.
