In the presence of the Director of the Department of Student Activities at the Presidency of Mosul Prof Dr Nawfal al-Hayali, the University Championship was launched with a futsal football (associate category) on the afternoon of Tuesday, 21 January 2020. The opening match was held between the teams of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, and the Presidency of the University of Mosul. The match ended with the first team winning the penalty shoot-out difference 4/2. After the match ended with its original time, they drew with a single goal for each of them. All members of the College of Medicine team attended the match. The college team is at the forefront of the competition teams due to its remarkable levels on the previous occasions. Meanwhile, the College of Medicine team is expected to play its first games on Tuesday, 28 January 2020 against the College of Sciences team.
