In the presence of the Director of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Department of the University of Mosul, the department held a workshop on the Unified Laboratory Equipment Coding System on Tuesday, 28 January 2020. The workshop was attended by Officials of the Division of Quality and Performance Evaluation of the various colleges of the university among them the Official of the Division of the College of Medicine, the assistant – lecturer Dr Omar M. Shandala. The workshop aimed at using the university the electronic systems that achieve efficiency, performance, examination, and measurement of laboratory devices within standard criteria and conditions for calibration of an integrated system that has its elements that must be achieved in the work environment. At the same time, preserving its data and creating a unified binary code that contributes to managing devices and laboratory equipment in a better and easier way. Some indicators were also discussed in the laboratory classification form and entering data in them and identifying the most important paragraphs and points that improve the quality of educational laboratories in the university.
