The Radiology Department of the Wuhan Federation Hospital of China held a (virtual) medical workshop on Corona on Saturday, 11th April 2020. Specialists from different countries such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Yemen, England, China, India, and others attended this workshop. The College of Medicine was also attended through four female lecturers in the Dept. of Radiology, including are the Head of the Dept., lecturer Dr Hadeel M. al-Hayali, Rapporteur of the Dept. lecturer Dr Wasan A. al-Zubaidi, and Lecturer Dr Dalia Ab. al-Falaki, lecturer Dr Marwa I. Khalaf. In the workshop, five lectures were given by radiologists from the Chinese city of Wuhan (the focus of the virus), in terms of how to treat infected cases with diagnosis and treatment. The workshop demonstrated the importance of the vital role of x-rays (especially chest scanners) in diagnosing cases of people with covid-19, following up cases and responding to treatment and then recovering (which is equivalent to laboratory testing).
