College of Medicine

University orders were issued to terminate and assign the heads of three scientific departments of the College of Medicine, University of Mosul, due to the expiry of the legal deadlines for assignment, in 17th May 2020. Prof. Khaled N. Mustafa was appointed as the Head of Department of Medicine succeeding the assistant prof. Dr Ismail D. Saeed. The associate Prof. Dr Raeda M. al-Wazzan, was assigned as Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology succeeding the associate Prof. Dr Ahmed J. al-Husseini. Meanwhile, associate Prof. Dr Walid Gh. Ahmed Al-Taie was assigned as Head of the Department of Family and Community Medicine to succeed associate Prof. Dr Anmar Burhan Al-Diwachi. The Deanship of the College of Medicine at a time that highly appreciates the sincere the efforts of the former presidents throughout the past period, it congragulate the new heads with this assignment, wishing them further successful in their mission for the service of our university and our college.
