College of Medicine

The council of the College of Medicine (via the Skype program) held its twenty-third meeting for the academic year 2019-2020 on Tuesday, 25th August 2020. The meeting was chaired by the Dean, Prof Dr Basil M. Nathir Saeed, and in the presence of the Scientific Vice-Dean (Secretary of the Council) assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim Zubeer and the Administrative Vice- Dean, assistant Prof Dr Hazim Kh. al-Allaf, and the other members of the Council. The results of the first round of the fifth and sixth stages were approved at the meeting (as they were announced directly to students after the end of the council). The directives of the distinguished University Council in its eighteenth meeting and its effective decisions were also presented. Also, the commitment to work according to the directives of the university presidency, while taking into account the decisions of the Crisis Cell, especially regarding safety conditions, in terms of wearing masks and spatial distance as possible. In the affiliates item (teachers and employees), it has been decided to start the new academic year 2020-2021 on Tuesday 1 September 2020 if God willing.
