College of Medicine

The College of Medicine Board held its sixth meeting for the academic year 2020-2021 on Tuesday, December 8th 2020. The meeting was chaired by the Dean Prof Dr Basil M. Nathir Saeed, and in the presence of the Scientific Vice-Dean (Secretary of the Council) Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim and the other members of the Council. Initially, congratulations were exchanged on the occasion of the start of the new academic year 2020-2021. After that, the decisions and directives of the last University Council meeting were reviewed. Emphasis was also done on the application of blended learning where a detailed explanation was made regarding the mechanisms of its application and the platforms used with an indication of the number of students admitted. Also, the clinical training program for sixth-stage students, including equivalent degree students for graduates from outside Iraq was viewed. The Council also approved a special ceremony to honor the retired faculty teaching staff and employees for the years 2019 and 2020 on Sunday December 13rd 2020.
