Under the patronage and presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil M. Nathir Saeed, the Department of Biochemistry held a training course on (Green Chemistry and its Various Applications), for two consecutive days. On Wednesday, December 16th 2020, the head of the department, Assistant Prof Dr Hazim A. Muhammad, presented his lecture entitled “Green Chemistry and its Medical Applications. While the lecturer Dr Ihssan H. Taha, gave her lecture which included practical training. On Thursday, December 17th 2020, an explanatory film about green chemistry presented by the department’s rapporteur Dr Omar M. Yahya was shown on Thursday December 17th. 2020. The training course was concluded with the assistant lecturer Maher A. Al-Dabbagh and his lecture entitled “Industrial Applications of Green Chemistry. This scientific activity is part of the continuing education program chain that all departments of the college deal with.
