Attendance and Participation of the College of Medicine for a Scientific Symposium on Diabetes and Insulin and their Impact on a Fasting Person

The College of Medicine attended and participated in a scientific symposium on diabetes and insulin and their impact on a fasting person on Friday 9th April 2021.

The symposium consisted of two scientific lectures. The first of which was delivered by the College of Medicine, Nineveh University, Assistant Prof Dr Nabil N. Fadel on fasting and its problems in diabetics. The second was for the Lecturer Dr from the College of Medicine, University of Mosul, Muhammad H. Al-Saati, about insulin and how to use it during Ramadan.

The symposium was attended by Scientific and Administrative Vice-Dean of the College of Medicine at University of Mosul, Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim, and Assistant Prof Dr Hazim Kh. Al-Allaf as well as a group of teaching staff in the Colleges of Medicine at University of Mosul and Nineveh and a group of specialist doctors in Nineveh Health Department. Note that the symposium was sponsored by Novo Nordisk.
