College of Medicine

The Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil M. Nathir Saeed, attended the virtual meeting of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Medicine in Iraq on Friday 23rd April 2021. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Committee, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Nahrain University, Prof Dr Anis Kh. Nayel, in the presence of the general deans of the aforementioned colleges. They discussed many important matters related to accreditation of medical schools and how to work to overcome obstacles in order to reach international accreditation. Some peculiarities of medical schools were discussed in terms of the educational process. Some necessary proposals and opinions that enhance academic work, especially in light of the current circumstances, were also put forward. The meeting was hosted by the Chairman of the National Accreditation Council for Colleges of Medicine, Prof Dr Yusra Abdul-Rahman.
