Viva and Postgraduate studies:
In the presence of Assist. Prof. Dr. Humam Ghanem Ibrahim, Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs, Viva, was held on Monday, 2nd September 2024, in the postgraduate studies hall at the College of Medicine.
The thesis, submitted by Postgraduate master’s student Shahad Luqman Younis, was titled “Analysis of Bioelectrical Impedance and Changes in Adiponectin Hormone in Normal Pregnant Women.”
The thesis aimed to assess changes in body composition during pregnancy, evaluate the levels of adiponectin hormone during different stages of pregnancy, and determine the relationship between these variables and bioelectrical impedance.
The Viva committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Qasim Hasso Abdullah, with Asst. Prof. Dr. Sara Khairuddin as a member, Dr. Rajaa Ahmed Younis as a member, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Afraa Mohammed Al-Ameen as a member and supervisor. The Viva was attended by the Head of the Postgraduate Studies Division, the Head and Medical Physiology Department members, and several faculty members and postgraduate students.
