In the presence of the Scientific Vice-Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim, and the President of the Society of Ear, Nose and Throat Physicians, Nineveh Department, Professor of Surgery Department, Prof Dr Ali A. Muhammad, the Society held its scientific event on Friday, 28th May 2021. The activity included three lectures by a number of specialist doctors, including a surgical professor; Assistant Prof Dr Haitham A. Al-Nouri entitled “Transphenoidal Hypophysectomy.”

The lecture discussed the latest scientific and practical experiences and developments in the field of pituitary gland surgery through Endoscopic Transsphenoidal Pituitary Surgery.

The event, which was held with the support of AstraZeneca Company, witnessed the presence of some specialized doctors from the Nineveh Health Department.
