New Achievement: Book Publication*
A new book titled “Laser Applications in Treating Cancer” has been published, authored by Mr. Mustafa Ibrahim Ahmad from the Department of Physiology at the College of Medicine, in collaboration with Professor Dr. Heyam Al-Taie, Dean of the College of Science. The book was published by Noor Publishing, a global publishing house affiliated with Dodo OmnìScriptum S.R.L., Books Indian Ocean Ltd., with the ISBN: 978-3-330-80326-8.

The book explores one of the most modern and complex medical fields, reviewing precise and modern therapeutic applications of laser technology in treating various cancers, including laryngeal cancer, breast cancer, and squamous cell carcinoma. It also covers the use of lasers in oral, facial, and maxillofacial surgeries, as well as its role in treating mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome. This work contributes to developing therapeutic methods, striving for a better medical future.

This achievement adds to the series of accomplishments by the College of Medicine at the University of Mosul, contributing to the third Sustainable Development Goal (Good Health and Well-being).
