The College of Medicine’s Contribution to the International Human Rights Day Awareness Campaign

 

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of Mosul University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Humam Ghanim Ibraahim, the College of Medicine’s Media and Government Communication Division and Human Rights Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit, contributed to the International Human Rights Day awareness campaign.

The campaign included designing an awareness poster titled

 

“International Human Rights Day: Towards a More Just and Equal World”

 

The campaign aimed to achieve several Sustainable Development Goals, including:

 

– Goal 1: No Poverty

– Goal 4: Quality Education

– Goal 5: Gender Equality

– Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities

– Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions

The awareness posters were distributed throughout the college to promote awareness of the importance of human rights.
