The College of Medicine, University of Mosul, Ranked up the Second among Medical Colleges in Iraq
The College of Medicine, University of Mosul, achieved an advanced position among medical colleges in Iraq. It is ranked up the second among its counterparts in the country according to the analysis and evaluation of the reality of medical colleges in Iraqi universities, which was organized by the Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This questionnaire analysis evaluates the experience of medical education in Iraqi universities. This result confirms the success of the university and the college in organizing the assessment exams for the students of the medical group. This great achievement is due to the continuous support of Prof Dr Qusay K. Al-Ahmadi, President of University of Mosul, the Vice-President for Scientific Affairs, Prof Dr Munir S. Taha, and the Vice-President for Administrative Affairs, Prof Dr Waheed M. Al-Ibrahimi for all aspects of the educational process in the College of Medicine, supporting it and providing its needs. The deanship of the College of Medicine represented by Prof Dr Basil Mohammednathir Saeed pledged its students to move forward tirelessly to obtaining national and international accreditation for medical colleges despite the difficult circumstances especially the destruction of infrastructure.
