“Administrative Corruption and the Public Policies Needed to Address It” Workshop at the College of Medicine

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Humam Ghanim Ibraahim, the Legal Division at the College of Medicine, in cooperation with the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, held a workshop as part of the continuing education activities titled: “Administrative Corruption and the Public Policies Needed to Address It”.

The workshop lectures were delivered by:

Asst. Prof. Dr. Shaymaa Hatim Rasheed
Asst. Lect. Yasser Talal Nadher

It was held on Monday, 11/05/2026, in Al-Razi Hall.

The workshop targeted the college’s staff of faculty members and employees, and covered the following topics: the concept of administrative corruption and its forms; its causes and effects on educational institutions; the public policies and legal and administrative mechanisms needed to address and reduce it; and the role of integrity and transparency in building a sound institutional work environment.

This workshop is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically:
Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities
Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
