By the grace of Almighty God, with the continuous follow-up of the Deanship of the College of Medicine / University of Mosul, and through the blessed efforts of the Editor-in-Chief, the Editorial Board, and the technical and administrative staff of the Mosul Medical Journal, the first issue of Volume 48 of the journal has been published. This issue includes 16 scientific research papers in various medical specialties and fields.

The publication of this issue is a continuation of the journal’s mission to support the scientific research movement and to publish sound studies that contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge and to enhancing the scientific output of researchers. This reflects the academic and scientific standing held by the College of Medicine – University of Mosul.
