The College of Medicine Council Recommends in its 19th meeting the Approval the Establishment of Skills Laboratory to Train Students

The College of Medicine Council recommended the approval of establishing a skills and simulation laboratory to train students. This occurred during the nineteenth meeting which was held on Tuesday, 27th July 2021. The proposal for its establishment was presented by the Head of the Department of Surgery, Prof Dr Samir I. Al-Saffar. In the field of the final exams for the academic year 2020-2021, which is currently occurred, the Chairman of the Examination Committee of the College, Assistant Prof Dr Wahda A. Kharoufa, was hosted. The Council was briefed on the conduct of in attendance and electronic exams and overcoming all difficulties that may hinder their implementation in an optimal and complete manner.

In the context of postgraduate studies, the discussion committees of postgraduate students in the field of pharmacology were reviewed. As well as other issues and themes that were discussed by the Council.

The meeting was chaired (virtually) by the Dean of the College, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednather Saeed, in the presence of the Scientific Vice-Dean Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim , and Administrative Vice-Dean, Assistant Prof Dr Hazim Kh. Al-Allaf and other members of the Council.
