The Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednather Saeed, chaired the periodic meeting of the University Committee for the Clinical psychiatry course on Wednesday, 11th August 2021. These periodic meetings are to obtain the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on the project of the clinical psychiatry course which was underway with the University of Lorraine, France, more than a year ago. There will be other meetings soon to set the mechanism for applying for these courses, what are the conditions, scientific background, points of comparison, and others in preparation for starting the project which will be presented by the French side early next year. The meeting was attended by other members of the committee.
