Head of the Department of Pharmacology, Prof Dr Imad A. Thanoun, chaired the second scientific session of the workshop which was held by Nineveh Health Directorate and University of Nineveh entitled “How to publish research” on Tuesday, 7th September 2021. The symposium discussed the necessary preparations for publishing research, the ethics of publishing research and the introduction message, and how choose a high quality journal and publish the research.

In a separate event, he also headed a master’s thesis in the College of Pharmacy, University of Mosul, presented by student Shahd Adel Badr on “the effects of coenzyme Q10 in polycystic ovary patients” on Wednesday, 8th September 2021.

The aforementioned week witnessed a prominent and remarkable scientific activity for him represented by his membership and supervision (by participation) of the Master’s thesis of the College of Medicine, Mosul University by Hind Y. Younis, on Monday, 30th August 2021, and as the Head of the Master’s thesis Discussion Committee of the College of Medicine, Mosul University, by the student Raghad A. Al-Kherro on Wednesday, 1st September 2021. Then his membership in the discussion of a master’s thesis of the College of Pharmacy, University of Mosul by the student Nour Al-Huda A. Yahya on Thursday,2nd September 2021. Lastly but not least his membership and supervision of a master’s thesis of the College of Medicine, University of Mosul, by the student Zahraa R. Al-Baqoua’ on Thursday, 9th September 2021. The Deanship and the college’s affiliates appreciate this remarkable and good scientific effort, wishing him continued success.
