The Arab Scientific Council of Paediatrics (Mosul Training Centre) held research discussions for nine students on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 26th -28th October 2021. The Assistant Prof Dr Rabea M. Al-Dabouni supervised three research studies (on the one hand), and chaired two discussion committees (on the other hand). Meanwhile, the Head of the Department, Prof Dr Riyad A. Al-Obaidi, the rapporteur, the Assistant Prof Dr Aws H. Al-Numan, the two academic staff, the Lecturer Dr Nazar A. Qassim, and the Lecturer Dr Farah S. Yahya participated as members of the committees.

The researches discussed (The Clinical Features of Hypothyroidism, Risk Factors of Obesity, Risk Factors of Bronchial Asthma, and Frequency of Hypertension in Nephrotic Syndrome) in children as well as other topics.

These research and its discussion are part of the academic requirements of the final grade of the Arab Board. These discussions will be followed by a clinical and theoretical exam that will be held at a later time if Allah willing.
