Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine / University of Mosul, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednathir Saeed, and under the supervision of the Vice- Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim Zubair Within the courses of the Continuous Education Unit, the Measurement and Evaluation Committee, one of the committees of the Medical Education Unit / Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division, held a virtual workshop entitled “SWOT Analysis and Improvement Plan” on Tuesday, 28th June 2022 at nine thirty in the evening via the Zoom program, and a detailed explanation was provided by Assistant Prof Ruqia Z. Shaaban on what is SWOT analysis and how to use it in self-evaluation. The improvement plan that was written in the self-assessment report of the national institutional accreditation standards for higher education institutions in Iraq was presented, and a lecture was given on how to write the improvement plan by Assistant Prof Dr Ahmed H. Muhammad, and extensive discussion was conducted by the attendees in the workshop and their questions answered in the sight of the Vice- Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Lecturer Dr Karam T. Tawfiq, and Lecturer Dr Ahmed A. Al-Harbi, Director of the Quality Assurance Division. The workshop was attended by Vice- Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Al-Zubair, Assistant Lecturer Dr Karam T. Tawfiq, the Vice- Dean for Administrative Affairs, members of the main accreditation committees and sub-committees, and a number of college teaching staff.
