College of Medicine

The Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednather Saeed and in the presence of members of University Committee for Clinical Psychiatry courses, chaired the committee’s meeting which was held virtually on Friday evening, 21st January 2022.

The meeting discussed the observations made by the head of the committee and submitted to the French side after reviewing the lectures uploaded to the private website by the French University of Lorraine especially the topic of translation which was discussed in a previous meeting. Other issues related to the presentation of lectures were also addressed. The committee has completed its work, and the minutes of the meeting will be submitted to university presidency. It is worth mentioning that the clinical psychiatry courses are joint project between the universities of Mosul and Nineveh (on the one hand) and the French University of Lorraine (on the other).

The meeting was attended by members of the University Committee for Clinical Psychiatry courses. It was also attended by the university’s presidency, Director of Missions and Cultural Relations Department, Dr Rawaa Boutros, and the Official of the Francophone Unit, Dr. Muhammad Zuhair, an Official, and from the Faculty of Medicine, Lecturer Dr Safiya Chalabi specializing in psychiatry. It was also attended by the experienced Prof Dr Elham Khattab and the Lecturer Dr Janan Rahho from Nineveh University.
