College of Medicine

The annual symposium of the Department of Family and Community Medicine took place on 24th May 2022, under the patronage of the President of University of Mosul, Prof Dr Qusay Al-Ahmadi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednathir Saeed on the floor of the auditorium of Prof Dr Taher Al-Dabbagh. The symposium dealt with interesting and recent topics such as the haemorrhagic fever epidemic and others. A group of college’s teaching staff and from Nineveh College of Medicine attended the symposium. In the symposium, the retired Prof Dr Asmaa Al-Jawadi was honoured in appreciation for her efforts in the field of community medicine and public health. , the Vice-Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Prof Dr Humam Ghanem, Assistant Prof Dr Walid Gh. Al-Taie, Head of the Department of Family and Community Medicine, and Assistant Prof Dr Anmar B. Al-Dewachi, were honoured for their efforts in making the educational operation success.
