The discussions of the two students of the Iraqi Board of Histopathology took place in the Graduate Studies Hall / Building of the Deanship of the College of Medicine Today, Wednesday, the first of February 2023.The Vice- Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Prof Dr Hummam Gh. Ibrahim Zubeer, opened the first discussion on the topic of “immunological expression of brain tumors” for the student, Amna S. Muhammad. Then the Head of the Committee, Prof Dr Wahda M. Tayeb, read the administrative order for the discussions. The first committee consisted of the Assistant Prof Dr Nadwa Al-Ezzo, and the consultant physician, Dr Helmy Abdul Sattar and supervised the thesis Dr Hatem Al-Nuaimi.After that, a discussion of the topic of the second thesis, entitled “the pathological evaluation of basal cell carcinoma and its likes” by the student Daliya A. Majeed, whose discussion committee was chaired by Prof Dr Wahda M. Tayeb. The committee consisted of Assistant Prof Dr Qassim S. Al-Chalabi and Dr Ikhlas A. Ali. The research was supervised by Assistant Prof Dr Nadwa Al-Ezzo.The two discussions were characterized by a calm, useful scientific atmosphere. The teaching staff of the Dept. of Pathology attended part of both discussions. The efforts of the supervisors and the two students were crowned with success, and their papers were accepted by the members of the committee. Wish them lasting success and congratulations to all.
