College of Medicine

The awareness campaign on breast cancer was launched by the Department of Medicine, College of Medicine, University of Mosul, on Tuesday, 22 October 2019 for three days. The campaign was inaugurated through a central celebration in the Student Centre Theatre hall, which was administrated by the Head of the College of Information Division, Head of Engineers Hassan Y. Abdullah followed by the speech of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil M. Natheer. Finally, a scientific lecture was delivered by the lecturer Dr Alia A. Najm (from the Department of Medicine). After that, the President of the University opened the exhibition of the campaign in the gardens of the student centre. The campaign was supported by Al-Hikma Pharmaceutical Company which goes in line with the directions of the University of Mosul and considered October as the global awareness month of this disease.
