Discussions of Board Students for the Specialty of Ear, Nose and ThroatThe thesis of the student Mona Mahdi Al-Ali , fourth stage of Arab Board, was discussed on June 22nd 2022 which was entitled “Dexamethasone impregnated gel foam application in polyposis surgery” under the supervision of Prof Dr Basil Mohammednather Saeed, Dean of the College of Medicine.The discussion committee consisted of Prof Dr Ali Abdulmutallab (Chair)Prof Dr Raghdan M. Daoud (Member)Prof Dr Islam Ghanem Mahmoud (member)Also, the thesis of the student, Sahar A. Youssef, fourth grade, the ENT Arab Board, was discussed which was entitled ” Comparison of response to treatment of otomycosis using topical betadine solutions and clotrimazole 1%” under the supervision of Prof Dr Raghadan Al-Hamdani, Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery.The discussion committee consisted of Prof Dr Basil Mohammednather Saeed (Chair)Assistant Prof Dr Haithem Al-Nouri (Member)Prof Dr Marwan Faisal (Member)Some of the discussions were attended by a number of professors and specialist doctors. Both theses were accepted as part of the requirements for obtaining a specialty certificate.
