*The College of Medicine Achieves Prominent Positions in Student Activities at the University of Mosul*
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, the Student Activities Department at the University of Mosul held a ceremony to award prizes to the colleges that achieved the top three positions in sports, scouting, artistic, and volunteer activities. The ceremony was attended by the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Iibrahimi, and the Assistant President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Rafal Hassan Hamid.
The College of Medicine achieved several prominent positions in various events, including:
– *First place* in the chess tournament for male students.
– *Second place* in the chess tournament for female students.
– *Third place* in the tennis tournament for male students.
– *Third place* in the evaluation of the Ramadan competition for memorization and recitation for the colleges of the University of Mosul.
The Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Humam Ghanim Ibraahim, received the cups and prizes, expressing his pride in the achievements made by the college in various student activities.
The ceremony was held on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Scientific and Literary Forum Hall.
The participation of the College of Medicine in student activities is evidence of its interest in developing students’ skills and acquiring practical and scientific experience. The results achieved by the college demonstrate its excellence and distinction in several fields, reflecting the level of students and academic staff in the college.
