College of Medicine

The College of Medicine, through the Division of Graduate Studies, announced the detailed controls and timelines for electronic submission of postgraduate studies for the academic year 2020-2021. Among the most important controls and announced timelines is that the application will be electronic from September 1, 2020 to September 30, 2020, provided that the competitive examination will take place on October 18.

As for the postgraduate studies available at the college, they are the doctorate (anatomy), the master’s (pathology and community medicine), and the higher diploma (family medicine).

First: Doctorate (Anatomy): Gross Anatomy and Neuroanatomy – Histology and Embryology.

Second: Masters (Pathology): General Pathology + Hematology.

Third: Master’s degree (family medicine in society): epidemiology, communicable diseases, health management, environmental health, and non-communicable diseases.

Fourth: Higher Diploma (Family Medicine): Fundamentals of family medicine, basic clinical sciences, and sub-clinical sciences.

As for the application itself, it will be by filling in the attached electronic forms provided that the electronic form will be sent with all the documents to the e-mail [email protected] and through the e-mail of the applicant (with the explicit name), with the addition of the quadruple name of the applicant with the specialty to be submitted to it in the mail position field. The attached file format shall be in the form of a single file and in PDF format, and in the following sequence:

The electronic form for the applicant takes into account the insertion of the applicant’s phone number (exclusively) and a recent photo, and please be careful in entering all information correctly.

A graduation endorsement document or letter for the purposes of applying for postgraduate studies, addressed to the College of Medicine, in which the graduation rate and the average of the first graduate student are indicated on the batch to the college (for the first and second rounds).

A letter of no objection (for employees) that includes the phrase in the following form: ((the department has no objection to the employee from applying to postgraduate studies for the academic year 2020-2021 and granting him a study leave if accepted)).

Study leave for employees of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Certificates of participation for a training course to develop English language skills, computer, and pass the Arabic language proficiency according to the instructions.

Fill out the accountability and justice form.

Fill out the application forms (Form 500) and Business agenda (Form 501).

Fill out a form for candidates from the families of martyrs (Form 502), who are included in the law of the Martyrs Institution and have it approved by the concerned authorities (for those responsible only).

Fill out a form for candidates from political prisoners (Form 503), who are covered by the Prisoners Institution Law, and have it approved by the concerned authorities (for those included only).

Fill out a form for candidates who are included in the law on compensation for those affected by war operations (Form 700) and certify it by the concerned authorities (for those included only).

Fill out the forms for candidates with disabilities and special needs (Form No. 600), and certify them by the concerned authorities (for those included only).

Fill out and sign the written undertaking form (Form No. 504).

A copy of the civil status ID, the Iraqi nationality certificate, the residence card (or residence confirmation or a copy of the unified national card) and a personal photo with a white background.
