The College of Medicine Attends a Meeting at the Presidency of University Regarding Scientific Laboratories
The Scientific Vice- Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim and the rapporteur of the Department of Biochemistry, Lecturer Dr Omar M. Yahya attended a meeting at University’s Presidency on Sunday, 7th November 2021.
The meeting discussed the reality of scientific laboratories in scientific colleges and their most important needs. The attendees also discussed ways to develop, qualify and equip them with the necessary equipment coinciding with the start of the new academic year 2021-2022.
The meeting was chaired by Prof Dr Munir S. Taha, the Scientific Vice-President of university and was attended by the vice- deans of the scientific colleges.

Implementation of the Study in Iraq Program
As part of the initiative to internationalize higher education in Iraq, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the Study in Iraq Program, which includes the following educational channels (undergraduate and graduate):
Free scholarships: Morning studies covering tuition fees, housing, health insurance, and an entry visa to Iraq with a student residence permit.
