The College of Medicine Attends and Participates in the Success of a Scientific Symposium on the New Updates of Corona Treatment
The College of Medicine attended and participated in the success of a scientific symposium on the new updates to the treatment of corona on Friday, 27th August, 2021. The symposium was held with the support of Al-Hikma Pharmaceutical Company and included one lecture delivered by the lecturer Dr Muhammad H. Al-Saati from the Department of Medicine entitled “Covid 19 and Thromboembolism”.
The lecture discussed the new updates to treat the Corona virus and its relationship to blood clotting and its complications. The methods of diagnosis and treatment of blood clotting were also discussed.
The symposium was attended by the Scientific Vice-Dean of the College, Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim, and the Head of the Department of Family and Community Medicine, Assistant Prof Dr Walid Gh. Al-Taee.
