College of Medicine

The College of Medicine council (via the Skype program) held its twenty-second meeting for the academic year 2019-2020 on Wednesday, August19th 2020. The meeting was chaired by the Dean Prof Dr Basil M. Nathir Saeed, and in the presence of the Scientific Vice-Dean (Secretary of the Council) assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Ibrahim Zubeer and the Administrative Vice-Dean, assistant Prof Dr Hazim Kh. al-Allaf, and the other members of the Council. In the meeting, the results of the first round of the first, second, third and fourth stages were approved exclusively (as they were announced directly to students after the end of the council). Coordination and cooperation with the Nineveh Health Department was also approved regarding the appointment of specialized doctors from the College of Medicine to assist health personnel in dealing with the Corona pandemic. The next academic year 2020-2021 was also discussed and how to prepare for it now. In the context of scientific affairs, a number of research papers were recorded for some teachers of the different departments.
