The College of Medicine Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the Nineveh Health Department

The College of Medicine, University of Mosul signed a memorandum of understanding on 14th Nov. 2022 with the Nineveh Health Department, so the two parties achieved tactical step towards formalizing the fruitful cooperation that has always brought them together for decades.The Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednathir Saeed announced in this occasion saying “”We are pleased to consolidate ties with the Nineveh Health Department, this institution that represents the cornerstone in providing medical care to the governorate and is the main beneficiary of the outputs of the College of Medicine” The dean signed the memorandum on behalf of both university and college. Meanwhile, the Director – General Dr Falah I. Al-Taea signed on behalf of the Nineveh Health Department, who expressed his great gratitude to the presidency of university and the deanship of the college for their great role in supporting the heath sector of the province.Both two parties expressed their mutual satisfaction with this new momentum within the framework of their cooperation, which will be focused primarily on organizing the work of teaching hospitals and training students in them with paying special attention to strengthening dialogue between the committees that will emerge later in implementation of the terms of the agreement. The cornerstone of the memorandum of understanding is the commitment to promote the exchange of expertise between the two institutions and encouraging research activities.The dean was accompanied by both Scientific Vice –Dean, Assistant Prof Dr Hummam Gh. Zubeer and Administrative Vice-Dean, Dr Karam T. Tawfiq in addition to the Director of Quality and Assurance, Performance and Evaluation, Director of Division of Missions and Cultural Relation and Director of Division of Public Relations.
