The Pathology Department held two scientific seminars on Monday 23rd November 2020. The first seminar was presented by the Head of the Department, Assistant Prof Dr Nadwa M. Al-Ezzou, through her research entitled “The Role of Calretinin immunohistochemistry in detection of ganglion cell in Hirschsprung disease” as this is an independent research. While the second seminar was presented by Assistant Lecturer Elaf A. Al-Sumaidaie through a joint promotion research with Lecturer Dr Khaled W. Abdel Fattah, and Assistant Lecturer Karam T. Tawfiq entitled ” Immunohistichemical evaluation of CD20 in patients with caeliac disease in Nineveh Province” After the presentation of each research, the room was left for questions, interventions and an opinion by the attendees. The presentation was attended by the Official of the Iraqi Board of Pathology, Prof. Dr Wahda M. Tayyib, and the lecturer Dr Mustafa S. Fadil as well as the general teaching staff of the department.
