Two Virtual Students’ Seminars of the Department of Medicine Deal with Gastrointestinal Bleeding and Chronic Cough

The Department of Medicine held two virtual students’ seminars on the topics of gastrointestinal bleeding and chronic cough on Wednesday, 21st May 2021.

The forty-first seminar entitled “Management of Lower GIT Bleeding” was presented by the students: Aws N. Ann M. Gabriel, Andira Nimrud, Hanouf Iyad, Rashd Ali and Reem Janan, under the supervision of the Lecturer Dr Abdullah Z. Al-Yuzbaki. After that, the forty-second seminar entitled “Approach to Patients with Chronic Cough” was presented by students Abdulrahman Amer, Abdullah Rashid, Fatima Fadel, Abdullah Firas, Fatima Yasser, Fahd Ahmed and Marfa Raed, under the supervision of Assistant Prof Dr Rami M. Al-Hayali.

This scientific activity is part of the academic requirements for sixth year students. Among the attendees were the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr Khalid N. Mustafa as well as the general public of other teaching staff, and students of the mentioned stage (the medicine group in particular).
