Dean of the College of Nursing Discusses Cooperation with ‘Your Health First’ Team to Organize First Aid Training Courses for University of Mosul Students
The Dean of the College of Nursing, Assistant Professor Dr. Tahsein Muhsin Hussein, received in his office Dr. Muhannad Akram Rashad, Director of the Your Health First Organization, along with Dr. Omar Muzafar Atiyah, Dr. Ahmed Abdulqader, and Dr. Aya Shehab Ahmed, from the Your Health First volunteer team. The meeting was held to discuss prospects for mutual cooperation between the two sides.
During the meeting, the participants discussed laying the preliminary foundations for a joint project aimed at organizing specialized training courses in first aid for students of the University of Mosul. The project seeks to enhance students’ practical skills and strengthen their readiness to deal with emergency situations in accordance with the latest scientific and professional standards.
This initiative comes in line with the College’s vision to raise the scientific and practical competence of University of Mosul students, and to prepare qualified cadres capable of providing high-quality health services. It also reflects the College’s commitment to fostering effective partnerships between academic institutions and community-based health initiatives.
