The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis tagged (the strategic thought of regional powers towards the Middle East region: Iran and Turkey as a model) on Sunday, November 20, 2022, in the Conference and Seminar Hall of the College of Political Science, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Kossay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmady President of the University of Mosul, And Assistant Professor Dr. Tariq Mohammed Tayeb Zahir Dean of the College of Political Science, as well as a number of professors and postgraduate students in our college. The study presented by the student (Salam Jihad Hussein Al-Bayati) presented an analysis of the strategic thought of the regional powers Iran and Turkey and the nature of their always effective performance. Therefore, these countries perform different functions to reach their goals, depending on their capabilities in the regional and international arenas.The thesis discussion committee consisted of the professors whose names are listed below:1- Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Amir Khudair… Chairman.2- Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Salah Mahmmoud… member3- Assistant Professor Dr. Marwan Salim Ali… member.4- Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Moaysar Fathey.. member and supervisor.After an extensive scientific discussion of the thesis and the student’s defense of it, it was approved and qualified for a master’s degree in political science.
