Dar Noor Publishing in Berlin, Germany, has released a scientific book by Assistant Professor Dr. Marwan Salim Ali, a faculty member in our college, in collaboration with a group of Arab researchers from Palestine and Egypt. The book is titled “The International Community and the Palestinian Issue: Fundamental Constants and Interest-Based Changes – Conflicting Views.” This collaborative (joint) book is part of the scientific and research cooperation between Iraqi and Arab academics and researchers within their scientific activities. It aims to serve scientific knowledge and draw the attention of Arab decision-makers in general and Palestinians in particular. It highlights the Palestinian issue and the stance of the international community on it, presenting key treatments and recommendations for settling the issue in a manner that serves the Arab-Palestinian interest. This is especially relevant in the context of the ongoing war today between Israel and Hamas and the continued fierce indiscriminate Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip. It is hoped that the research and studies contained in the book will enrich the discussion and enhance objective dialogue on various issues and challenges facing and hindering the resolution of the Palestinian issue in a way that meets the aspirations of the Arabs and Palestinians specifically in light of international changes. It also explores ways and proposals for solving these challenges at this critical stage of the Palestinian issue and the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, urging Arab decision-makers to take this study seriously and benefit from it.
