College of Political Sciences

As part of the collaborative agreement between the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul and the College of Political Science at the University of Tikrit, a joint lecture was organized by the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul. The lecture, titled “Electoral Culture,” took place on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, targeting fourth-year students.

The lecture covered various aspects related to electoral culture, including electoral laws, the concept of political participation, voting, the quota system, the counting and sorting mechanism, voting behavior, and other concepts associated with elections. The lecture was delivered alternately by Professor Dr. Mortada Ahmed Khudair from the College of Political Science at the University of Tikrit and Assistant Professor Dr. Salim Matar Abdullah from the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul.

The session included interactive discussions, with students actively engaging by asking questions and seeking clarification on the discussed topics. The joint lecture aimed to enhance the understanding of electoral processes and promote cooperation between the two academic institutions.
