College of Political Sciences

Through collaboration with the Scientific Affairs Department at Mosul University and in the presence of the esteemed dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Tariq Mohammed Tayeb Zaher, faculty members, and postgraduate students in the preparatory year and research writing stage, the College of Political Science held a workshop titled “Basic Standards in Writing and Publishing Scientific Research” on Sunday, February 18, 2024.

The workshop included a series of valuable scientific lectures delivered by Professor Dr. Rayan Ghazi Dhanoun, the Director of the Scientific Affairs Department at Mosul University, and officials from the departments and administrative units in the department. The workshop covered the fundamental steps in writing and publishing scientific research, strategies to enhance scientific rigor through increased publication in international scientific databases, and methods to search for reputable journals and publishers within credible databases.
