The International Relations Department organizes a scientific workshop on “The Importance of Volunteer Work in the Field of Environment and Green Belt within the Sustainable Development Goals”

Under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Tariq Mohammed Tayeb Zaher, the esteemed Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul, and on the occasion of National Tree Planting Day in Iraq on March 12th, the International Relations Department at the College of Political Science – University of Mosul organized its scientific workshop entitled “The Importance of Volunteer Work in the Field of Environment and Green Belt within the Sustainable Development Goals.”

The workshop included presentations summarizing the research papers of the participating researchers as follows:
1. Assoc. Prof. Mohammed Moysar Fathi: Clean and Achieved Energies and Their Role in Enhancing Sustainable Development.
2. Asst. Lecturer Jasim Mohammed Taha: The Role of Volunteer Work in Promoting the Green Belt.
3. Ali Bashar Bakr, M.Sc.: The Importance of Green Environment in International Politics.
4. Abdul Kareem Zuhair Attia, M.A.: National Initiatives in the Green Environment Field.

The workshop resulted in several key outcomes, notably that the environment, sustainable development, volunteer work, and green cover have become a top priority for governments in advanced countries to combat climate challenges.
