Introducing new specializations for postgraduate studies at the college of Political Science starting from the academic year 2025-2026
With confident and assured steps, and a determination that diminishes obstacles, the college of Political Science at the University of Mosul continues to make strides through time, firmly establishing its presence in the national and international academic arena. After successfully emerging like a phoenix from the ashes of war, it has returned to shine brightly with its contributions, production, and knowledge. From its swift return to its alma mater after a brief stint outside the province to reclaiming its societal spectrum that attracts everyone without exception, and then dedicating itself to the successful annual scientific conference as a solid phenomenon, and the continuous renewal of its role in the extensive networks of cooperation it has woven with various entities, both internally and externally, and its voluntary engagement in various levels of discussions and debates dedicated to addressing current political and societal issues. Lastly, but not least, its topping of the national ranking list among comparable Iraqi colleges, crowning its scientific prosperity with the approval of the honorable Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, on the establishment of master’s studies in two vital specializations in political science: International Relations and Political Systems/General Politics Department, starting from the academic year 2025-2026. As our esteemed college celebrates this important academic milestone, it aspires for more creativity and excellence, dedicating the fruits of its outstanding achievement to the esteemed President of the University of Mosul, Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Ahmedi, who surrounds everyone with care and attention, to its respected deanship, academic staff, and all its scientific figures, to its diligent administrative staff ensuring the smoothness and accuracy of work, to its distinguished students, and to everyone who contributed to crystallizing the final image of this scene of scientific nobility and grandeur.
