In the presence of the Dean of the College, the College of Political Science held a discussion session on the topic of the upcoming early presidential elections scheduled for the end of this month. The session featured two research papers by Professor Dr. Jamal Kamal and Assistant Lecturer Firas Elias.

The discussion session focused on several key aspects of the elections, including:

• How the elections are conducted
• The main actors involved
• Prominent candidates
• The chances of conservatives and reformists in the elections
• The impact of Iran’s regional and international relations on the election scene

Additionally, numerous questions and concerns related to the topic were addressed.
