The Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul as a Member and Supervisor for a PhD Dissertation at Salahaddin University on the Mutual U.S.-Iran Threat After 2009
On Thursday, 12 September 2024, a PhD dissertation by student Ahmed Mohammed Abdo was discussed at the College of Political Science, Salahaddin University in Erbil, with the participation and supervision of the Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Tariq Mohammed Tayeb Zahir.
The dissertation defense was chaired by Professor Dr. Sardar Qadir Mohiuddin, with the membership of several other faculty members. The dissertation examined the mutual U.S.-Iran threat after 2009 in light of the theory of the regional security complex, with Iraq and Syria as case studies.
After the discussion, the committee’s decision was read, which included the acceptance of the dissertation and the awarding of a PhD degree to the student.
