On 14 August 2024, the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal al-Din al-Ahmadi, issued a letter of appreciation to the Administrative Assistant of the College of Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Yaseen. This recognition (along with several other university faculty members) was given in appreciation for his commendable efforts in chairing and serving on several special university administrative committees.
