The Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul attends the opening of the conference of the College of Administration and Economics on Development and Financial and Economic Stability
Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, and under the supervision and presence of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, the College of Administration and Economics held its first scientific conference titled: “Development and Financial and Economic Stability to Restore Confidence in the Iraqi Dinar,” on Monday, 14 October 2024. The conference was attended by Legal Advisor Abdulqadir Al-Dakhil, the Governor of Nineveh, Dr. Muzahim Al-Khayyat, Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Higher Education, and Mr. Mansour Al-Muraid, Member of Parliament for Nineveh, along with other notable figures.
Also in attendance were some members of the University Council, including the Dean of the College of Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Tareq Mohammed Tayeb Taher, and the Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Lecturer Dr. Khairallah Subhan Al-Jubouri.
The conference aimed to improve banking and economic performance in Iraq and to harness digitalization to support economic development and financial stability, especially in light of the challenges facing the national economy. A total of eighteen research papers were presented during three scientific sessions.
