The Director General of the Research and Development Department at the Ministry of Higher Education Visits the College of Political Science University of Mosul
On Thursday, 7 November 2024, Professor Dr. Lubna Khamis Mahdi, Director General of the Research and Development Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, visited the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul. She was welcomed by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Tariq Muhammad Tayyib Thaher, along with the scientific and administrative assistants and several other faculty members.
The purpose of the visit, which was also attended by the Dean of the College of Archaeology, Professor Dr. Yasmin Abdul Karim Muhammad Ali, was to review the academic, administrative, and technical conditions of the college. Several issues and obstacles that hinder the achievement of the desired goals for the overall educational process were discussed, as well as ways to advance toward sustainable development in service of humanity and society at large.
Additionally, the President of the University, Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, presented her with a letter of thanks and appreciation, in recognition of her efforts at the ministry level and within its institutions, including the University of Mosul. This took place on the sidelines of her chairing the examination committee for the master’s thesis of student Diman Luqman Ahmed, which was held on the same day.
