Assistant Professor Dr. Tareq Muhammad Dhnon Al-Taie from the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul achieved third place in the UNESCO Chair research competition
The results of the research competition, organized by the UNESCO Chair at the University of Mosul, awarded third place to a research study by a lecturer in the Department of International Relations, College of Political Science, University of Mosul. The competition was held from 10 to 12 November 2024, and saw numerous research submissions.
Dr. Al-Taie participated with his scholarly research titled, “The Securitization Approach to Combat Violent Extremism in Nineveh.” A distinguished scientific committee evaluated and judged the submissions with stringent standards for selection. This competition is the first of its kind among Iraqi universities.
The college administration congratulated Dr. Al-Taie on this academic accomplishment, wishing him and other faculty members continued success and academic distinction in various scientific arenas, God willing.
