College of Political Sciences

The Council of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul discussed avenues of cooperation with the university’s Regional Studies Center during its third meeting for the 2024–2025 academic year, held on Thursday, 14 November 2024.

The meeting addressed the college’s preparations for the visit of the National Institutional Accreditation Committee. It also covered preparations by the Guidance Unit, mechanisms for tracking graduates, the approval of certain scientific research papers, as well as other issues and topics raised and discussed during the session.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the Director of the Regional Studies Center and officials from the Guidance and the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Alumni Follow-Up Units were hosted, along with representatives from the Quality Assurance and Government Communications and Media Divisions.

The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Tarek Mohammed Tayeb Zahir, with the attendance of the Academic and Administrative Assistants, Lecturer Dr. Khairallah Subhan Al-Jubouri and Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Yassin, respectively, as well as the Council Secretary, Assistant Professor Dr. Younis Mueed Younis, in addition to the heads of academic departments and a representative from the Academics Syndicate.
