The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul hosted a course on the topic of cyber extortion on Tuesday, 3 December 2024.
The aim of the course was to raise awareness about the dangers of this issue and the ways to confront it, which contributes to protecting students and equipping them with the necessary knowledge to deal with this phenomenon.
The course was attended by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Tariq Mohammed Tayeb Zaher. The session was managed by the academic assistant, Lecturer Dr. Khairallah Sabhan Al-Jubouri, and presented by a number of experts from the University Security Center and Nineveh Institutes (Second Complex). The course saw a good turnout from our dear students from all academic levels, who enriched the course activities with their questions, inquiries, and interventions, which were clearly answered by the concerned specialists.
